Suan Zao Ren 酸枣仁(Zizyphus Semen) 38.44%

Chuan Xiong 川芎(Ligusticum Rhizoma)   15.33%

Fu Ling 茯苓(Poria Cocos)                           23.24%

Zhi Mu 知母(Anemarrhena Rhizoma)       15.33%

Gan Cao 甘草(Glycyrrhiza Radix (Licorice))    7.66%

 

Action and Indication: This formula calms the Spirit; replenishes Liver Blood; disperses Liver Heat.  It is used to help a person who has Liver Blood Deficiency.  Related symptoms are: palpitation; dizziness; vertigo; insomnia; irritability; night sweats; fidgetiness; forgetfulness; dry mouth and throat; excessive dreaming.  Tongue is usually red.  Pulse is usually wiry or thin, rapid.
