Dang Gui当归 (Angelica Sinensis Radix)   25%

Chuan Xiong 川芎(Ligusticum Rhizoma)   25%

Bai Shao 白芍(Paeonia Radix)      25%

Shu Di Huang 熟地黄(Rehmannia Radix (Prepared)) 25%

 

Action and Indication: This formula tonifies the Qi; nourishes and strengthens the Spleen and Stomach functions.  It is used to help a person who has a weak system of nutrient transport due to Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency.  Related symptoms are: pale face; weakness in the muscles of the arms and legs; distention in the abdomen; anemia; pain from gastric ulcer; no appetite; soft and low voice; vomiting; rumbling sound in the abdomen; diarrhea; loose stools; weakness in the extremities.  Tongue is usually light color with a thin coating.  Pulse is usually weak.
